Policies
Policies control the functions a user or role can access in the in the administrative interface. Policies only control access to functions and do not apply to individual content items. See permissions for that.
Available policies
The following policies can be set on a user or role. All policies can be either allowed or denied, where "deny" take precedence over "allow".
- Editorial login
- Allowed to log into the administrative interface.
- Dashboard
- Access to the dashboard.
- Content
- Access to the site section.
- Files
- Access to the file archive.
- Manage
- Access to the manage section. Note: Access to all pages under "Manage" will be denied if the policy is not set.
- Manage Sites
- Access to add, edit and delete sites and languages.
- Manage users
- Access to add, edit and delete users.
- Manage roles
- Access to add, edit and remove roles.
- Manage content types
- Access to add, edit and delete content types.
- Global permissions for Content
- Access to specidy default permissions for content.
- Global permissions for sites
- Access to specify default permissions for sites.
- Manage recycle bin
- Access to restore and delete items in the recycle bin.
- Manage settings
- Access to general settings.
- Managa daemons
- Edit daemon settings.
- Manage plugins
- Edit plugin settings.
- Manage system information
- Access to system information including log files and license information.
- Manage shared dashboard
- Access to add, edit and remove widgets from the shared tab on the dashboard.
- Manage workflows
- Access to add, edit and remove workflows (requires that the workflow plugin is activated).
